Honoring Service to Country
"All of those who served...gave a part of themselves and their lives to do what they thought was right. All of them deserve the recognition and the thanks of their fellow citizens for what they gave." – Bob Dole
Kansas Veterans Virtual Memory Wall
The Kansas Veterans Virtual Memory Wall at the Dole Institute proudly continues Senator Bob Dole’s commitment to honoring Kansas veterans past and present.
Here you can submit a profile and photo of a Kansan who served our country from World War II to today.
Your veteran will be featured digitally online via this portal, as well as in the halls of the Dole Institute alongside Senator Bob Dole and 1,000s of other Kansas service men and women.
If your veteran was submitted into our original WWII database (2003- June 2021), your veteran automatically appears in our new Virtual Memory Wall! Please contact the Dole Institute if you would like to expand your veteran's existing profile.
Questions? Try our FAQ guide or contact kansasveterans@ku.edu or 785-864-4900 during business hours Monday through Friday.
Help us honor veterans in perpetuity. To offset expenses of this ongoing project, a $20 donation is requested. If this presents a hardship, we still invite your submission.
