KU AFROTC. Commissioned May 1964 upon graduation from KU's School of Business (BS). Assigned to Air Force Comm. Service Sept.1964 Western Comm. Region Hamilton AFB, Calif. as Personnel Officer. Reassigned in the Summer of 1966 to the 2049th Comm. Group at McCllelan AFB, Calif. as the Headquarters Squadron Commander and Personnel Officer. Worked with GREAT, DEDICATED people! Promoted to Captain and awarded the USAF Commendation Medal. Released from Activity Duty Sept. 1968 into the USAF Reserves.
